The Heartland Naturists are planning for a busy 2013! You've asked for more events and we're working to deliver! Below you will find a list of event descriptions and a Google calendar showing the date(s) they will occur.
Please note that many of these are MEMBERS ONLY events! If you are not a Heartland Naturists member, you will not be able to attend those events! These are additional perks for members of our organization, so please consider supporting us by becoming a member and be rewarded with access to exclusive events!
Clothed Events
- Coffee With HN
- What: Clothed get together at a local coffee house to give those reluctant to attend a nude event the opportunity to meet HN members, ask questions, and become more comfortable with our organization.
- When: Monthly on various dates. See calendar below. E-mail, Twitter, Meetup, and Facebook announcements will be made.
- Who: Open to members and guests. If you plan to attend an event, please contact us and let you know you will be attending! We will reserve table space according to those who tell us they are coming. If you show up and we don't have space for you, we will have no choice but to turn you away!
- Where: Location will vary from month to month depending on attendance and preference. See calendar below for location details when they are posted.
- March 9 - Communiversity Class - "Nudism/Naturism 101"
- What: Mike C and Tracy of The Heartland Naturists will be teaching the class "Nudism/Naturism 101" at UMKC's Communiversity. They will explore the history, legality, and cultural significance of nudism and naturism today for anyone curious about it.

- Cost: $9.00 per person payable to UMKC Communiversity
- April 14 - Booth At UMKC Wholistic Health Fair
- What: The Heartland Naturists are returning to the UMKC Wholistic Health Fair! We will be spreading information about the wholesomeness of family-friendly nude recreation, especially the physical and psychological benefits. Come out and show your support!
*** We are looking for cheerful and friendly volunteers to help out for all or part of the day. You will be interacting with people, handing out information, and answering various questions about nudism/naturism and the Heartland Naturists organization. We especially need some ladies to help talk with other ladies at the fair that might have sensitive questions. - Nude Yoga -- Discontinued
- What: Due to low attendance, nude yoga has been discontinued
Single Events
- March 2 - Movie Night
- What: We'll be watching "Act Naturally" the way it's meant to be watched - in the nude! We'll have some time before and after for conversation and board games.
- When: Friday, March 2nd from 7:00pm to 11:00pm.
- Who: Heartland Naturists Members Only
- Where: Member's home
- Cost: Free to members
- May 4 - Cuatro de Mayo Dinner
- What: Mother Nature isn't going to cooperate for an outdoor event, so we're moving the fiesta inside with a group dinner
- When: Saturday, May 4th from 6:00pm to 8:00pm.
- Who: Open to members and guests. E-MAIL US AND LET US KNOW YOU WILL BE ATTENDING SO YOU'LL HAVE A SEAT!
- Where: Tequila Harry's, 11817 College Blvd Overland Park, KS 66210
- Cost: No HN Fee. Just pay for your own food and drinks. And please plan to tip the servers generously so we will be welcomed back!
- June 8 - Show Me Acres Road Trip
- What: We'll be carpooling to Show Me Acres for a day of food, skinny dipping in their awesome pool, playing water volleyball, soaking up some sun, and playing games!
- When: Saturday, June 8th (Tentative)

- Where: Show Me Acres, 5492 Black Elk Lane, Stover MO 65078
- Cost: We are negotating a group rate with Show Me Acres for HN members. Stay tuned...
- July 6/7 - Sun Run Weekend
- What: Annual 5k nude run/walk, followed by a potluck lunch and skinny dipping
- When: Sun Run Weekend 2013 is July 6-7 with the Sun Run occurring on Sunday, July 7, 2013.
- Who: Open to members and guests
- Where: Location withheld until registration. Online registration will be set up in May 2013.

- August 5 - Nude Bowling
- What: Nude bowling - We had a great turnout in 2012, so we'll do it again in 2013!
- When: Monday, August 5th
- Who: Open to members and guests after board approval.
- Where: An alley in Kansas City, Kansas. Due to concerns of the bowling alley owner, the exact location will only be given to registrants. We ask anyone who knows the name of the alley to please keep it confidential. We don't want to ruin our relationship with the alley before we have our first event.
- Cost: TBD
- October 18 - Breast Cancer Awareness Benefit Skinny Dip
- What: In honor of Breast Cancer Awareness Month, we will have a benefit swim. We will collect donations to be sent to the National Breast Cancer Foundation (NBCF). In addition, women swim FREE for this event!
- When: Friday, October 18 from 8:30pm to 10:30pm
- Who: Open to members and guests after board approval.

- October 26 - Halloween Party
- What: Annual Halloween party with trivia, food, games, and socializing
- When: Saturday, October 26, 2013

- What: Annual Christmas Party with gift exchange, food, games, and socializing
