A Welcome Letter To Women

Hello and welcome to the women in naturism pages of our website.

My name is Heather and I am a member of the Heartland Naturist organization. I would like to take the opportunity to invite you to read the information and stories presented on the pages that follow, and would ask that you do so with an open mind. I would also ask that if your husband or significant other has asked you to view these pages that you DON’T do the same things to him that I did to my husband, George, for almost five years.

To give you an idea of what my husband endured and for which I am now extremely grateful he did, here is how things started out for me.

Shortly before we were married, we were talking one evening and he brought up the subject of naturism and suggested that we go to a naturist swim hosted by a group called the Heartland Naturists. My very first and very immediate answer to him was absolutely positively NO WAY. The mere thought of being naked in front of others (much less being naked at home) was not even something that I was willing to consider or think about. I then proceed to list off at least half a dozen reasons why I would never be a naturist or even be involved in naturism and then I basically shut down and told him I didn’t want to talk about it and didn’t care what he told me or could show me about naturism I was not going to consider it end of discussion.

Well as you have probably figured out by now, the fact that I am a member and writing this indicates I had a change of heart. What I didn’t know back in 2000 when my husband first asked me to join him was just how wrong I was about what I thought naturism was about, just how much naturism would help me, and how it would change my life once I finally made the choice to really look into it.

To the men who are reading this please be patient and understanding with your wife or significant other and understand that being nude in front of others and sometimes even you is a big step for most of us.

It is my sincere hope that after reading these pages that any questions and concerns you might have as a woman will be answered and your mind will have been put to ease. Inside you will find information about the most common questions and concerns that many women have as well as stories from women who are involved in naturism both here in the Heartland Naturist organization as well as from other women that belong to other resorts and clubs around the country.
